Liliashus

Liliashus is in charge of finding the vitamins in all the fruit and vegetables you eat.  She’s named after the family of pretty flowers, lilies, which also smell very sweet.  That family also includes onions!  Onions often make people cry.  They have a very strong acidy substance which stings your eyes when you chop them up.  So the flower which makes many people go ‘ahhhh’, is closely related to a vegetable which makes people go ‘owwww!’  Liliashus is pretty like the flower and tough like the onion.
